For any question, write to info@jdc-trans.com.

ML SERVICES NV has not designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO): the nature and scale of our processing activities do not require one within the meaning of Article 37 GDPR. Any question relating to your data can be sent to info@jdc-trans.com.
Data collected
Depending on your interaction with the site, we collect the following data:
- Quote request — first name, last name, email, phone, company (optional), service requested, pick-up and delivery addresses, requested date, vehicle make/model, any additional information you choose to provide.
- Direct communications — any data you transmit to us by email or phone.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, date and time of visit, pages viewed (collected by our hosting provider Cloudflare for security and fraud-prevention purposes).
- Cookies — see the cookie policy below.
Processing purposes
- Handle and respond to your quote request.
- Perform a transport contract (pick-up, follow-up, delivery, invoicing).
- Comply with our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax.
- Ensure site security (anti-spam via Cloudflare Turnstile, anti-DDoS, rate limiting).
- Measure site audience in an aggregated and anonymous way (subject to your consent).
- B2B prospecting and commercial follow-up (legitimate interest; objection possible at any time).
Legal bases
Processing relies on Article 6.1 GDPR:
- (a) Consent — audience-measurement cookies and commercial communications where required.
- (b) Contract performance — handling your quote request and performing the transport contract.
- (c) Legal obligation — accounting and tax retention, fraud prevention.
- (f) Legitimate interest — site security, measured B2B prospecting, service improvement.
Processors and recipients
Your data is processed by ML SERVICES NV and, strictly to the extent necessary, by the following processors, all bound by a data-processing agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosting, CDN, anti-DDoS protection, anti-bot (Turnstile, invisible mode — see the Turnstile Privacy Addendum) and rate limiting.
- Resend Networks, Inc. (United States) — sending of transactional emails (quote confirmation and internal notification).
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (Ireland / United States) — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, only if you have consented to audience measurement.
Transfers outside the European Union
Cloudflare, Resend and Google process your data from or via the United States. These transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission (implementing decision 2021/914) and by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to which these providers are certified.
Retention periods
- Unconverted quote request — 3 years from your last contact (legitimate interest, B2B prospecting).
- Customer data after service — 10 years from the year concerned (Belgian tax obligations on income tax and VAT, law of 20 November 2022, applicable since 1 January 2023).
- Cloudflare security logs — period defined by Cloudflare (typically 7 days).
- Cookies — see detailed retention in the cookie policy.
Your rights
In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time for processing based on it, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise these rights, write to info@jdc-trans.com with proof of identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority — Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be.
No automated decision-making
We do not engage in any automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you, nor in any profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
Direct marketing
You have the right to object, free of charge and without justification, to any processing of your data for direct-marketing purposes, at any time.
Cookie policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. It allows the site to recognise your browser on a later visit and remember your preferences (language, cookie choice, etc.). Most cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.
Our approach
We apply a strict opt-in consent: no non-strictly-necessary cookie is placed until you have explicitly clicked "Accept all" or enabled the corresponding category in the preferences window. Your choice is stored for 6 months and can be changed at any time via the "Manage preferences" button in the footer.
Cookie categories
-
Strictly necessary
Indispensable to the site's operation and to remembering your cookie choice. They do not store personally identifying data and cannot be disabled.
-
Audience measurement (with consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand how our site is used — most-visited pages, navigation paths, traffic sources. Data is aggregated and the IP address is truncated. If you refuse this category, no analytics cookie is placed.
Cookies actually used
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Placed by |
| jdc_cc | Remembering your cookie choice | 6 months | ML SERVICES NV (first-party) |
| _ga | Anonymous visitor identification | 13 months | Google (with consent) |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 session state | 13 months | Google (with consent) |
| _gid | Anonymous visitor identification | 24 hours | Google (with consent) |
How to manage or delete cookies?
You can change your consent at any time via "Manage preferences" in the footer. You can also configure your browser to block or delete all cookies — see your browser's help (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge…). Completely blocking cookies may prevent some site features from working, in particular remembering your preferences.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
This site uses Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited) which, after your consent, loads Google Analytics 4 to measure audience. The generated data may be transmitted to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to which Google is certified. You may withdraw your consent at any time via "Manage preferences".
