Event logistics. From depot to paddock.
Automotive events are not handled like regular transport. Tight deadlines, multi-vehicle setups, on-site constraints, on-site presence: we step in before, during and after.
From Spa-Francorchamps to Autoworld, from the Heysel to European historic rallies, JDC-Trans handles the full logistics: pickup at clients, transport to the venue, on-site presence during the event, orderly return.
Mixed configuration depending on the need — enclosed trucks for prestige vehicles, open carriers for high-volume flows. One dedicated team, one point of contact, from brief to teardown.

A platform we built ourselves.
At Spa-Francorchamps, putting a car on the paddock roof isn't something you order from a catalogue. In the 2000s, JDC-Trans designed and built its own platform for that staging. It's still in our depot today — a reminder that when an event calls for a rig that doesn't exist, we build it ourselves.

Six steps, from brief to teardown.
An automotive event starts long before the flag and ends long after. Here is the typical sequence, from the first briefing to the return of vehicles to their owners.
- 01
Event briefing
Spec, calendar, on-site constraints and accreditations. Joint validation before kick-off.
- 02
Upstream preparation
Pickup at clients or partners, consolidation at the depot if needed, general condition check.
- 03
Transport to venue
Convoy to the event with coordinated arrival — Spa, Autoworld, Heysel or European rally. Mixed configuration depending on the need.
- 04
On-site setup
Paddock placement, commissioning, briefing with organisers, vehicle accreditation.
- 05
Presence during the event
Dedicated team on-site, entries/exits handled, ongoing logistical support — including outside race hours.
- 06
Orderly return
Teardown at the end of the event, return to owners, logistics debrief with the client.
Mixed configuration, dedicated team.
Depending on the mission, enclosed or open. Depending on the event, one to several units. Always a JDC team on-site, a single point of contact on the client side.

One point of contact, from brief to return.
No hand-off between sales and logistics. No switchboard in between. One team carries the event from the very first call to the final debrief — the same person who negotiated the contract will be the one picking up the phone at 11pm in the paddock if something drifts.
That's what separates a carrier from an event partner.
