Since 1958, one road.

A family-run house founded by Joseph De Cooman in Brussels. Three generations later, the same trade: moving vehicles with rigour, discretion and continuity — from the open carrier that delivers the dealership to the enclosed truck escorting the prototype.

The beginning.

Joseph De Cooman founds Dépannage Jos De Cooman in Brussels. The house starts as a breakdown and towing service. Over the years that follow, vehicle transport naturally enters the trade — work where precision and trust matter more than tonnage.

European expansion.

The fleet grows to absorb international connections. JDC introduces enclosed exclusive transport — fit for classics, prototypes, rally cars and test vehicles, which tolerate neither rain nor onlookers. This niche trade, rare in Belgium until then, becomes a signature.

JDC-TRANS.

After forty-six years of accumulated experience, the breakdown and towing branch is sold. The house focuses exclusively on what it does best: moving vehicles. A new name acknowledges this refocus — JDC-TRANS — along with a visual identity that endures today.

The same promise.

The house operates fourteen open carriers in-house and four enclosed exclusive trucks, with fixed connections to Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy and Scandinavia, plus occasional missions to Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Premium dealerships, European collectors, manufacturers and rally organisers trust the third generation with their vehicles.

The promise has not changed in sixty-six years: deliver every vehicle as if it were ours.
